Can a negative result turn to positive pregnancy test?
I took a test in the morning and it was negative, but i left it on the sink and few hours later i swear i saw a faint second line. Now im so confused, was that real or just evaporation? Has this happened to anyone?
Dont go by a line that appears much later, that is usually an evaporation line and not reliable. If you tested early and got negative, wait 3 to 4 days and test again with morning urine. Real positives show within the reading time.
This happened to me, a faint line appeared after I left it on the sink. I got confused and retested next morning, then it was clearly positive. So I think testing too early gave me the first negative. Anyone else had this?
If you read it within the time window, a negative can later look faintly positive due to an evaporation line, that is not a true positive. My doctor said only read the result in the time the instructions say. If you tested too early, retest after a few days with a fresh kit.
