I have a pap smear due and i just found out im pregnant, very early stage. Now im worried if the test can be uncomfortable or harm anything at this point. Did anyone get it done in early pregnancy?
From what my gynac told me it is usually fine and they do it carefully. Mild spotting can occur. Honestly the best is to just ask your own doctor since they know your specific situation.
Make sure your doctor knows you are pregnant first, that is the key thing. In a sensitive pregnancy they may decide differently. If you have any pain or bleeding more than light spotting after, call them, dont sit on it.
