I did the test this morning and it showed two lines but it was a bit faint. Im scared to get my hopes up in case it turns out wrong. Has anyone had a positive that wasnt actually real?
Mine was positive at home and the blood test confirmed it, so it was right for me. I have read false positives are uncommon but not impossible. I would just go get the blood test to be fully sure.
My doctor said a positive home test is usually reliable, false positives are quite rare. They can happen with expired kits or certain medications though. To be sure, she advised a blood test to confirm, which I did.
A positive is mostly correct, much more so than a negative. Still, always confirm with a blood test and a doctor visit. Dont rely only on the strip for something this important.
