Tested negative this morning but my period is still not here and im having some weird symptoms. Now im doubting myself, can the test actually be wrong sometimes? should i wait and test again or is it final? thoda confused.
My gynac explained that false negatives are common if hCG is still low, but false positives are rare. She said if I really suspected, a blood beta hCG test is the proper confirmation. So a kit can be wrong but blood test usually settles it.
I took like four tests because I didnt trust any of them lol. Two faint, one clear, one almost nothing. Don't do what I did, just wait and retest calmly, the panic isnt worth it.

Yes it can, mostly when you test too early. Both my times the first test was negative and after 3-4 days it showed clearly. Wait till your period is actually missed and test with morning urine, much more reliable.
My amma always said tests in early days can fool you. I waited a week extra like she suggested and then it was clear. But for final confirmation I still went to the doctor only.
