Went for a scan and the results confused me a little, now im overthinking if there could be a mistake. Maybe im just anxious. Has anyone had a scan turn out different than first told?
My gynac said very early scans can be unclear and sometimes need a repeat to be sure, so timing matters a lot. Errors are uncommon but the equipment and the week both play a part. If you're unsure, asking for a repeat scan is totally reasonable.
I overanalyse every report so I get this worry completely. What helped me was simply talking to my doctor and getting a second scan when I was unsure. Trust the doctor over your own googling, that's what I learned.
In my case an early scan looked uncertain and the repeat one cleared it up. So if something doesn't add up, do go back and ask your doctor for another check. Don't sit with doubt, get clarity.
