Can a tvs see baby on 5th week of pregnancy?

I have my first scan booked and i think ill be around 5 weeks then. Im honestly nervous they wont see anything and ill panic for no reason. Did u all see your baby this early on the scan?

I remember my 5 week scan showed just a sac and I got so scared something was wrong. Did others also see nothing much that early? My gynac repeated it after 10 days and then we saw the heartbeat.

5 weeks is really early, mostly just the sac shows up. Don't read too much into it, give it a couple of weeks and trust the next scan.

In my case early scan was unclear so they checked my hcg levels along with it. Please let your doctor decide the repeat timing, dont compare too much online. Early dating can be off by a few days too.

At 5 weeks my doctor said usually only the gestational sac is visible on TVS, sometimes a tiny yolk sac. The actual baby and heartbeat often show a little later around 6 to 7 weeks. So dont worry if they say wait for next scan.
