A relative of mine apparently had bleeding on and off her whole pregnancy and still delivered fine. It got me thinking is that even possible or normal? im a little anxious because i spotted slightly this week and im planning to tell my gynac.
My doctor explained light intermittent bleeding can happen from various causes and not always mean something bad, but it must always be evaluated. She wanted to know every time it happened. So yes it can occur but it is never to be ignored.
I bled on and off in early weeks during my IVF pregnancy and it was terrifying, but my doctor reassured and monitored me. It can happen and still be okay, but only your gynac can tell. Please dont go through it alone, keep her informed.
Some women do have on and off bleeding and still go on to have healthy babies, but it always needs to be monitored. I had recurring spotting and my gynac watched me closely the whole time. Please never treat ongoing bleeding as normal, get it checked each time.
