My follicular scan this month showed the follicle didnt rupture and i felt so disappointed. Been trying for almost a year now. Has anyone still managed to conceive in a cycle like this?
I dealt with follicles not rupturing during our journey, it was disheartening. But please know its treatable, doctors have ways to trigger ovulation. Dont lose hope, get a fertility specialist to look at it.
My doctor explained that an unruptured follicle, sometimes called LUFS, means no egg is let out so pregnancy that cycle is hard. She monitored my follicles on scan and treated it. So yes it can be managed, just needs proper medical follow up.
I read about this recently as we are trying too. Seems if it doesnt rupture the egg stays in, so that month is tough. The good part is doctors can help, so maybe book a consult, dont try to manage alone.
If the follicle doesnt rupture, the egg isnt released that cycle, so conception that month is unlikely. I had this issue with PCOS, it happens. A gynac can help with meds or tracking to support ovulation, please get guided.
