Can abdominal pain during pregnancy can feel like period pain?
Im 7 weeks and having this dull ache in my lower pet that feels exactly like my period cramps. Its making me anxious because im used to that pain meaning periods. Is this normal in early pregnancy? did anyone feel the same?
Actually yaar, early on it feels exactly like your period is about to start! But if it's super severe or there's any spot of blood, don't ignore it, direct check with your gynac.
Actually, my doctor explained that mild cramping happens due to progesterone levels and the round ligaments stretching. However, she strictly told me that if the pain is severe or accompanied by bleeding, it needs immediate medical evaluation.
Oh, I panicked so much and thought the worst when I felt those cramps early on! But my doctor reassured me that it's just the uterus stretching. It is very normal, so try to relax.
Oh dear, I totally understand how scary that feeling is, your maternal heart must be racing! Please know that your body is beautifully preparing a home for your sweet baby. Just rest, and if the pain is strong, call your doctor.
I had mild period-like cramps in my first trimester and was so scared, but it was just my body making room. My toddler is perfectly fine today. Just rest and stay hydrated, it usually settles down.
Mild cramping is common, and I felt it too. I had thyroid issues so I had to be very careful and keep my doctor informed. Definitely mention it during your next regular check-up.
Haha yes, your uterus is expanding to the size of a watermelon, so it definitely cramps like a period! Just make sure it’s light cramping, and if you have any severe pain or spotting, run to the doc instead of searching online!
