My face has suddenly broken out a lot this week and im also a few days late on my period. Never really get acne like this before periods so its making me wonder. Could this actually be an early sign or am i overthinking?
Mine broke out badly right before I found out, I felt like a teenager again. The hormone surge does it. But acne alone isnt confirmation, a test after missed period is the only real proof.
Yes it can be an early sign for some because of hormones, but its not reliable on its own. Both times my skin reacted differently. Pair it with a missed period and then test.
Pregnancy gave me a face full of pimples instead of that famous glow, what a scam haha. So yes it can happen, but a pimple isnt a pregnancy test. Pee on the stick to be sure.
It can be, but acne has so many causes, hormones, PCOS, stress, even diet. With my PCOS I get breakouts anyway so I never relied on it. Dont read it as a sure sign, just test if your period is late.
