Saas keeps adding ajwain in my food saying its good for digestion and after delivery also. Im in first trimester though, thoda confused if its safe right now. Anyone know?
A little bit of ajwain in tadka is totally fine and makes food taste amazing! 🍲 But don't go eating spoons of it raw. Balance is key during these beautiful 9 months! 😊
Hello! A tiny pinch of ajwain in your food or parathas is completely fine and actually helps with bloating. But please don't drink concentrated ajwain water daily, especially in the first trimester. Keep it moderate and always listen to your body.
Due to my early bleeding complications, my doctor strictly told me to avoid heating foods like raw ajwain, papaya, and sesame. Since pregnancy can be very delicate, please check with your gynac before consuming ajwain water or home remedies for gas.
I had thyroid issues so I was super careful about everything I ate and had regular follow-ups with my doctor. My doctor said spices like ajwain should only be used in normal cooking limits, nothing extra. Make sure to discuss all your dietary changes during your monthly checkups.
I used to have thoda ajwain for gas, but I stopped because it's considered very hot for the body. Instead, I focused on gentle walks after meals to help with digestion, which my doctor allowed. Definitely ask your gynac before eating ajwain in large quantities.
Actually yaar, my mom told me to have ajwain water for digestion, but I was too scared. I asked my doc and she said a little bit in daily cooking is fine, but don't drink it as a home remedy. It is better to stick to simple curd or walk thoda after eating.
Having a small amount of ajwain as a spice in your daily meals is safe and aids digestion. But avoid therapeutic doses like ajwain decoctions or kaadha, as it can cause uterine contractions in high amounts. If you have severe acidity, there are safer antacids your doctor can prescribe.
