Was prescribed this earlier for some skin issue before i knew i was pregnant. Now im 10 weeks and scared to take anything without asking. Will check with my gynac for sure, just wanted to know if anyone has any idea about this.
Dont guess with medicines in pregnancy, ever. I'd never start something like this without my gynac saying yes. Describe your skin issue to your doctor and follow their advice only.
I cant really say anything about this medicine, I wouldnt want to give wrong info on something you swallow during pregnancy. The only safe thing I can suggest is please ask your doctor directly, they know your full history.
Beta no random medicine in these days, especially without a doctor saying so. Let your gynac look at the skin problem and decide. Don't take it on your own pls.
Please dont take albendazole on your own in pregnancy, it is a medicine that needs a doctor's call. Whatever skin issue you have, show it to your gynac or a skin doctor, they will tell you whats safe in these months. Self medicating is the part I'd avoid.
I really wouldnt decide this from a forum. Any deworming or such medicine during pregnancy should only be taken if your doctor specifically prescribes it. For a skin problem, just book a quick visit and let them guide you, every case is different.
