My allergy is acting up badly with all the sneezing and i used to take allegra before. Now im 11 weeks and scared to take anything on my own. Did anyone ask their doctor about this? what did they say
I had bad allergies in both pregnancies and always asked my doc before taking anything. For mild stuff sometimes simple steam or saline helped. But for any tablet, get the green signal from gynac first.
I wont advise on the medicine itself. When i had allergy issues in pregnancy i just called my gynac and she told me what was ok for me. Pls check with ur doctor before taking any allergy tablet.
Please dont take any medicine on ur own during pregnancy, even common ones. Some are fine and some are not depending on the trimester. Only ur gynac can tell u safely, do call them.
Honestly best not to self prescribe antihistamines now. Some are considered safer than others but it depends on ur stage and history. A quick call to ur doctor will sort it out properly.
