Got a really bad cough since 3 days and someone at home had this syrup lying around. I dont want to take anything random in pregnancy without checking. Anyone knows if its safe or should i just ask my gynac first?
Please dont take any cough syrup on your own in pregnancy. Some of them are not safe in certain trimesters. Just call your gynac and ask, they will tell you a safe one for your stage.
Cough syrups are a no without doctor okay during pregnancy. I never touched any medicine without asking. If it's just a mild cough try warm water with a little honey and ginger meanwhile, and call your doctor for the syrup.

I cant really say about that specific syrup yaar. When I had bad cough my doc gave me a different safe one after checking me. Better to ring her than guess.
