My early scan showed something and the doc mentioned it could be a cyst but wants to recheck. Now my mind is going to ectopic and im quite anxious. Has this happened to anyone, how was it confirmed?
This really needs a doctor with proper scans and blood tests, not guessing. If there's any one sided pain or spotting, get seen quickly. Safety first on this one.
When i had my scare they had to look very carefully because early on these things can look confusing on scan. Thats why they repeat scans and check hcg levels. Please follow ur gynac closely, dont try to figure it out yourself.
I totally understand how anxious this question feels. Please dont carry the worry alone, let ur gynac do the scans and hcg checks. They will sort it out, take care of yourself.
My doctor said sometimes early scans can be unclear and they use hcg blood levels and repeat ultrasounds to be sure. So a single scan isnt always the full answer. Trust ur gynac's follow up plan, thats how they tell the difference.
