Bit shy to ask this but no one to ask honestly. We are trying to avoid for now and I just want to understand how the chances actually work. Pls dont judge, just genuinely confused.
See, no shame in asking this. Pregnancy happens when sperm reaches the right place, so that particular thing alone isnt the cause. But if semen got near the vaginal area, then there is a small chance, so just be aware.
Pregnancy needs sperm to reach the vagina and then the egg. So that act on its own doesnt directly cause it, but semen nearby can sometimes travel. If you are unsure or worried, a quick chat with a gynac will clear all doubts.
I had this same confusion when we were figuring things out. From what I understood, it is about where the sperm ends up, not the act itself. Best to ask a doctor if you want a proper answer though.
