Can any damage happen during pregnancy and how to know?
Im just 7 weeks and honestly so anxious about everything. I keep worrying if something can go wrong inside without me even knowing. How do u actually find out if anything is wrong, like what signs should i watch for? First time so pls bear with me.
I did have a complication once and the warning signs were bleeding, strong cramps and reduced baby movement later on. If you ever notice any of those, dont wait, go to your gynac immediately. Regular checkups caught my issue early, so they matter a lot.
My doctor gave me a clear list of red flags to watch, heavy bleeding, severe pain, high fever, bad swelling, blurred vision or less fetal movement. She said for anything like that, come in same day. Otherwise the routine scans monitor the baby well.
Issues can happen but they are usually caught during routine monitoring, which is why those visits exist. Knowing the warning signs helps, but dont self diagnose from the internet. For anything worrying, your gynac is the right person to guide you.
Most pregnancies go fine, dont scare yourself. The way to stay safe is simple, go for all your scheduled scans and checkups and dont skip them. If something feels off, your body usually gives signs.
I worried about this constantly, every twinge felt like a problem. What calmed me was knowing the warning signs and trusting the checkups instead of googling. If you are unsure, just call your doctor, that is what they are there for.
Take a breath, the body is built to protect the baby. Just keep your appointments, eat well and rest. And if anything feels wrong, like bleeding or sharp pain, see your doctor without delay.
