Can applying vicks vaporub daily affect early pregnancy?

I have a blocked nose almost every night and i've been rubbing vicks on my chest before sleeping. Just found out im pregnant, around 6 weeks. Now im worried if doing it daily is okay in early pregnancy? anyone used it?

Using a little Vicks on your chest for a cold is generally okay, lots of us do. But daily heavy use isnt needed, use it only when you have congestion. If you are unsure, just ask your gynac to be safe.

I used a small amount of Vicks for a blocked nose now and then and it was fine. Steam inhalation helped me even more. For daily use though, I would just confirm with the doctor rather than overdoing it.

A little for a cold is fine, no need to apply daily. Ask your doctor if worried.

We always used a bit of vapour rub at home for colds, even during pregnancy, na. Just on the chest, not too much. But for anything regular I always ran it by my gynac first to be calm.
