I used to take ashokarishta earlier for my periods and it suited me well. Now im pregnant and someone said dont continue ayurvedic stuff without asking. Did any of u take it during pregnancy, just want to hear before i check with doc.
Even though it is ayurvedic, anything during pregnancy I would run by the doctor first. Some herbal preparations are not meant for this stage. Better safe na, just confirm with your gynac.
Beta that tonic is usually for periods and after delivery, not really during pregnancy. We have always used it for those things in our home but not while expecting. Please ask your doctor before taking any ayurvedic tonic now.
I would honestly avoid any tonic that is not prescribed. During my pregnancy I stopped all my own ayurvedic stuff after the doctor told me to. Please check before taking this.
