Can baby falls in pelvis during 33 weeks of pregnancy?
Im 33 weeks and since yesterday I feel some pressure down there, like the baby has moved lower. Is it too early for that to happen? Just want to know if anyone felt this around same time.
It can happen and is usually normal. But if you also feel strong regular cramps, pressure with bleeding, or like baby is pushing very hard with contractions before 37 weeks, please call your gynac to rule out early labour.
Mine had started settling low around then too. I felt more pressure down there and waddled a lot, haha. Even though I ended up with a c section, the baby moving lower earlier was totally fine, nothing to worry.
I am not there yet but reading this makes me curious, do you feel it when baby drops? Like extra pressure? Hope someone who reached 33 weeks can share, I get anxious about all these milestones.
My doctor said in first pregnancies the head can engage earlier, sometimes weeks before labour, while in second pregnancies often closer to delivery. So at 33 weeks it can begin. She confirmed it at my checkup by feeling the tummy.
Yes it can happen, baby dropping into pelvis is called engagement. For some it starts a few weeks before delivery, even around 33-34 weeks for first timers. Its normal, just means baby is getting in position.
