I am 6 weeks and saw light bleeding when I wiped, not heavy but enough to scare me. I am going to call my gynac today. Has anyone had this and everything was okay?
Light spotting can be normal in early weeks, happens to many. But heavy bleeding, clots or cramping is not something to sit on. Note the colour and amount and tell your doc, dont rely on us for this one.
It can be normal in a number of cases, but it can also be a warning sign, and only a scan can tell the difference. So the safe answer is yes sometimes but always get it checked. Doctor advice beats any internet answer here.
Some light spotting can happen early, like implantation, but honestly please dont guess on your own. I had bleeding and ignored it once, big mistake. Call your gynac the same day, especially if its red and with pain.
I had a little brownish spotting around week 6 and i felt so scared, cried the whole evening. My doctor checked and baby was fine, it was just minor. But i would never tell anyone to wait it out, get it seen na, peace of mind is worth it.

My amma always said rest when you see spotting, and rest is good, but i still went to my doctor. Spotting can be okay but bleeding with pain is not. Trust the scan over any home advice ma.
