Im only like 8-9 days past ovulation and too impatient to wait for the home strip. Wondering if a blood test can pick it up this early or should i just wait a few more days na.
Yes, blood test (beta hCG) can catch it even earlier than urine strips, sometimes around 8-10 days after ovulation. My doctor made me do the blood one when my urine test was confusing. It also gives a number which is nice.
I did the blood test before even my missed period because I couldnt wait haha. Came positive. Did anyone get a faint urine line but clear blood result? Mine was like that.
Just a heads up the blood beta hCG costs a bit more than the home kit. If money is tight, do the urine test after missed period first, only go for blood if its unclear or doctor asks.
Haan blood test is more sensitive than the home strip. If you are too eager and cant wait, go for beta hCG blood test, its accurate. But honestly even urine test works well once period is missed.
