Can blood tests determine pregnancy after 1 week of pregnancy?

We are trying and im honestly too impatient to wait for the missed period. Heard blood test is more sensitive than the strip ones. can it actually pick it up this early?

Oh I didnt know blood test can show this early. So is it better than the home kit then? I am also in this confusing phase right now.

My doctor told me the beta hCG blood test can pick it up earlier than urine tests, sometimes around 7-10 days after conception. Its more sensitive than the home strips. She asked me to do it instead of the urine kit when I was unsure.

During my IVF the clinic did beta hCG blood tests very early and that gave us the first happy news. The waiting is so hard, I really feel you. Trust the blood test, its quite reliable.

Blood test is more accurate early, but timing still matters. Best to ask your gynac when exactly to test based on your cycle, mine guided me on the right day.
