Can boro g for mouth ulcer be used during pregnancy?
Got a painful mouth ulcer and boro g is what i usually reach for. But now im 16 weeks and dont want to apply anything without checking first. Planning to ask my gynac but wanted to hear if anyone used it during pregnancy.
I cant really say if its safe, I personally avoided putting any medicated gel in my mouth during pregnancy unless my doctor okayed it. For my ulcers I just rinsed with warm salt water and it helped. Better to ask your gynac before using boro g, since it goes inside the mouth.
Honestly anything you apply inside the mouth can get swallowed a bit, so I wouldnt use it without checking. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if its pregnancy safe before applying. They will tell you a safe option, dont guess on this one.
Its best not to use any medicated product in pregnancy without confirming, even a familiar one. A quick check with your doctor or chemist about whether boro g is pregnancy safe is worth it. For mild ulcers, salt water rinses and staying hydrated usually do the trick.
Beta for mouth ulcers I always used a little warm salt water gargle, or chewing on a bit of soaked dhania. These small home things are safe. But for any cream like boro g, please confirm with your doctor first since you are pregnant.
