My baby is 7 months and im still feeding her and my periods havent come back properly. We arent being very careful thinking feeding gives some protection. But im confused if i can still get pregnant like this?
Breastfeeding can delay periods but it is NOT a reliable birth control yaar. I know people who conceived again while still feeding. If you dont want back to back pregnancy, talk to your doc about a proper method.
When I was exclusively feeding my periods didnt come for months, but my doctor warned me ovulation can happen before the first period returns. So yes you can get pregnant. Better to be careful.
Theres something called the lactation method but it only works under strict conditions, and most people dont meet them perfectly. So dont rely on it actually. Use proper protection if not planning.
