Can candid b treat yeast infection during pregnancy?
I'm experiencing some discomfort and think I might have a yeast infection. I've used Candid B before. I'm just trying to understand if something like Candid B is generally considered for yeast infections during pregnancy, without taking it myself.
I actually have a mild itch too and was thinking of using Candid B, but I'm too scared to try anything. Did your doctor suggest this cream or are you thinking of using it on your own?
Beta, don't use these medical creams on your own during this delicate time. You can wash the area with lukewarm water or apply a little cold yogurt externally for mild relief, but for the actual cure, consult your doctor.
Please do not use any antifungal creams like Candid B without your doctor's advice. In pregnancy, even skin creams can get absorbed, so please be very cautious and let your gynac prescribe a safe cream.
My gynac prescribed me a specific pregnancy-safe cream when I had a yeast infection. Candid B has steroids which might not be recommended, so please check with your doctor before applying anything.
