My allergy is acting up badly, continuous sneezing and itchy eyes. I used to take cetirizine before but now scared to take anything on my own. Will check with doc but wanted to know if anyone was told its ok?
I had terrible dust allergies during my second trimester and my doctor actually prescribed me cetirizine because the sneezing was too intense. It worked fine for me, but definitely ask your own gynac first because everyone's case is different.
Hey, don't stress too much about allergies! I know how frustrating a runny nose can be, but please check with your doctor before taking cetirizine. Better safe than sorry, right? Call them up once.
While some doctors do say cetirizine is relatively safe in pregnancy, taking any medication without professional advice isn't recommended. Please give your gynac a quick call or message, they will suggest the safest option for your trimester.
I am trying to conceive and often get cold and allergy attacks. I was wondering if cetirizine is safe to take during the two-week wait? If anyone has asked their doctor, please share.
For mild allergies, try steam inhalation with a drop of eucalyptus oil or drinking warm haldi milk first. Cetirizine occasionally is ok if your doc prescribed it, but don't just take it yourself from the medical store.
