Im 9 weeks and havent told anyone yet, but my 4 yr old nephew suddenly keeps hugging my tummy and wants to sit on my lap all the time. Its kinda freaky na, like he knows something. Anyone else noticed kids behaving diff before u announced?
Honestly, I think kids actually sense it! My niece suddenly started clinging to me even before my GD tests started. I had to be so careful with my diet and sweet cravings, but her sweet hugs really kept me going.
Many people say this and there's some psychological backing to it since kids notice subtle behavioral changes. But if you have any physical symptoms causing anxiety, definitely consult your gynac. Otherwise, just enjoy this cute phase with the little ones!
Same here, my neighbor's kid started touching my belly pointing at it. We were actually planning our hospital delivery packages that month and calculating test costs. Trust me, kids have a different vibe altogether, but side by side do start planning your hospital budget, it helps a lot.
Haha true story! My 3 year old literally stopped jumping on my stomach a week before my positive test. I was like, did this kid read my mind or what? They definitely have some secret antenna for these things!
Oh god, yes! I'm in my 3rd trimester now, completely exhausted and huge like a balloon. My nephew looks at my belly and says there is a toy inside, they definitely sense something is up even if they don't get the whole picture yet.
They definitely do! My friend's daughter would always join me when I did my mild prenatal yoga at home. Of course, I only did it after my doctor gave the green light, but her coming and sitting next to me felt so instinctive.
It is actually true, children are so sensitive to positive energy. After my long IVF journey, my friend's toddler would just come and sit quietly near my lap. They feel that gentle shift in our bodies even before we speak about it, god bless you.
