My mom made rajgira/chaulai laddus and theyre so tasty, i keep eating them. But then started wondering if its okay during pregnancy or too much heat. Pls share your experience.
It is healthy but remember it has jaggery so its sweet. With my diabetes I had to count even these. If your sugar is normal, a small laddu is a good iron rich snack, but keep an eye on quantity.
These are cheap and nutritious, I used to keep them handy as a quick snack instead of buying costly health bars. Iron and energy in one. Just dont overeat for the sweetness, otherwise totally fine.
Rajgira or chaulai laddu is generally fine, it has iron and is light. My family used to give it during fasting times too. Just eat in moderation because of the jaggery sweetness. If you have sugar issues then check with doctor first.
Haan chaulai laddu is fine, its just amaranth and gud mostly. I ate these for the iron, good snack actually. Dont eat ten at once though, the jaggery is still sugar. One or two is a nice healthy bite.
