I usually add dalchini in my tea and sabzi but my MIL keeps saying avoid it now that im pregnant. Is there really anything to worry about or is she just being extra? curious what others do.
A little cinnamon in food or chai is totally fine, like the normal amount we cook with. Just dont take large medicinal doses or supplements of it. As a spice in cooking, no issue.
Beta, the pinch we put in kheer or tea is fine, we always used it. Just dont go having big quantities thinking its medicine. Normal cooking amount only, and ask the doctor before any supplement.
Culinary cinnamon is fine, its the concentrated supplements you want to avoid. I kept mine to normal cooking levels. If you are thinking of any herbal supplement form, check with your gynac first.
