Bit embarrassed to ask but we were together a few days before my period was due. My cycle is quite irregular so i never really know my dates. Can pregnancy happen in those days too?
I was reading up on this while trying to conceive, the fertile window is more in the middle of the cycle, not right before period. So chances just before are quite low but the body isnt a perfect clock.
My doctor explained that the few days right before period are usually low chance because ovulation already happened. But sperm can live a few days and cycles shift, so its not zero. If you have irregular cycles its harder to predict.
Just before your period the chance is generally low, beta. But low is not the same as never. Track your cycle properly or talk to a gynac if you want a clear answer for your body.
Honestly with my PCOS my ovulation was all over the place so I never trusted the safe period thing. Cant fully say its impossible for anyone. If you arent planning, dont rely only on timing yaar.
