We are planning and the timing falls in ashada maas. My MIL is saying its not good to conceive in this month as per our customs. Im a bit torn between beliefs and practical thinking. What did you all do, did you wait?
In our families some elders avoid certain months by tradition na, but medically you can conceive any month including ashada. Its more a custom belief. If you are healthy and trying, the month doesnt change your body.
My MIL also had these thoughts about avoiding ashada hehe. I respected her feelings but medically there is no harm. We just go by what feels right at home and trust the doctor for the actual health part.
Some follow these timings out of faith and thats personal to each family. From health side there is no problem conceiving then. Whatever you choose, stay positive and take good care of yourself.
Honestly this is more of a cultural belief than a medical thing. Conception depends on your cycle and ovulation, not the calendar month. If you have doubts about timing, your doctor can guide you better.
