Second trimester and constipation has become my daily struggle, sometimes i strain quite a bit. Started wondering if all this pushing can somehow harm the baby? Pls share if u went through the same.
Constipation is one of the most common pregnancy complaints, totally normal and not harmful to baby. I tracked my water intake and fibre and that made a big difference. If it gets really bad, your gynac can suggest something safe.
Dont worry beta, it troubles the mother not the baby. Soaked raisins, anjeer and warm water in the morning used to help us. Drink plenty of water, and if it's really stuck ask the doctor for something safe.
Constipation is super common and it doesnt harm the baby, it just makes you uncomfortable. Lots of water, fibre, fruits and a little walking helps a lot. I lived on soaked figs and prunes for this.
