Can constipation cause bleeding in early pregnancy?
Been super constipated these days and today i saw a little blood after going to toilet. Im first trimester and got really scared for a sec. is it from the straining or something to worry about? im planning to call my doc but wanted to hear from u all first.
It can, but please dont assume on your own. Any bleeding in early pregnancy is worth a quick message to your doctor so they can tell if its piles or something needing a check. Better to confirm than worry silently.
Yes, hard stools and straining can cause a little bleeding from piles or a small tear, thats different from period type bleeding. I had this. Up your water and fibre. But if blood is from inside, not stool related, then call your gynac.
Oh I was so frightened when this happened to me, did anyone else? Mine was from the hard stool and straining, not the actual pregnancy. Still I called my gynac just to feel safe and she reassured me.
Constipation gave me bleeding from piles in my early months, it was scary but it was the straining. I started soaked figs, more water and walking and it settled. But if you see fresh bleeding that isnt linked to toilet, ring your doc.
