5 weeks pregnant and ive had a bad cough for couple days now. Im scared the constant coughing might harm the baby itna early. Did it affect anyone here?
Haan beta, khasi toh kisi ko bhi aa sakti hai. Try some ghar ke nuskhe first, like warm water with honey and tulsi leaves. Steam bhi le sakte ho. But if it's too much or you get fever, don't delay, show it to the doctor. Don't take any strong dawaayi without asking.
A cough can definitely make you uncomfortable, and stress is never good. I'd say stay hydrated, and maybe try some warm soups. But be careful about ingredients, especially if you have any dietary restrictions like I did with gestational diabetes. For any prolonged cough, a check-up with your doctor is a must.
Look, a normal cough usually won't affect the baby directly in early pregnancy. But it makes *you* uncomfortable, which is not good. Drink lots of warm fluids, maybe gargle with salt water. If it doesn't get better in 2-3 days, just go to your doctor. Don't let it become serious.
Oh, I felt so worried when I got a bad cough in my first trimester. I kept thinking if the pressure was bad for the baby. My gynac just told me to manage it with simple things and avoid heavy medicines. It feels scary, na, but usually, it's fine.
I'm also in my early pregnancy and so scared of getting sick! I try to keep my immunity high. Is there anything specific one should *not* do if they get a cough? Like, are certain remedies completely off-limits? It's so confusing.
