Can crying a lot during pregnancy affect the baby?
ive been very emotional these days, small small things and i start crying. now im worried mera stress baccha ko affect na kare. is it actually harmful or just normal mood swings? thoda guilty feel ho raha.
Oh, I cried so much over literally nothing, even over a spilled glass of milk! My baby is perfectly healthy and happy now, so don't stress yourself out thinking you are harming them.
Hormones make us very emotional, but crying constantly can increase stress hormones. I found that a gentle evening walk or breathing exercises really helped reset my mood when my doctor cleared me for light activity.
Occasional crying won't hurt, but if you feel continuously depressed or have severe anxiety, please don't suffer in silence and talk to your gynac. Try sipping chamomile tea or listening to peaceful music to soothe yourself.
Please try to protect your peace, sweetie. Normal emotional crying is okay, but continuous high stress can affect your health, so try to stay as calm as possible for your little one.
Crying because of normal hormonal fluctuations is harmless. But if you are experiencing severe, prolonged depression, it's vital to speak with your doctor, as prenatal depression needs proper support and care.
