Can crying too much during pregnancy hurt the baby?
I've been feeling quite emotional and crying a lot these days because of mood swings. My family is telling me it's not good for the baby. Can crying too much actually hurt the baby during pregnancy?
Haan na, mood swings ki wajah se hum bohot rote hain pregnancy me. Baby ko physically hurt nahi hota, but humari mental peace ke liye rona control karna chahiye. Try to listen to good music and relax, dear.
Crying occasionally is just your hormones playing up, and it won't harm your little one. But if you feel sad all day, talk to your husband or a close friend. Keeping yourself happy and eating well is the best thing you can do right now.
My counselor at the hospital explained that normal crying due to hormones won't hurt the baby at all. However, if you are feeling constantly depressed or anxious, please talk to your doctor. The hospital staff can guide you to a safe support group.
If crying hurt the babies, my twins would have been born crying buckets, haha! The mood swings are absolutely crazy, but the babies are perfectly safe inside. Just watch a funny movie and have a nice tub of ice cream.
Crying occasionally is normal due to heavy hormones, but extreme stress or crying fits can sometimes affect your blood pressure. If you are feeling overwhelmed, please share it with your doctor. Taking care of your mental health is very important.
