my gynac asked me to do a day 21 blood test as part of trying to conceive checkup. now im wondering if that test itself can tell me whether im pregnant or its only for something else. bit confused honestly.
My doctor explained the day 21 blood test is actually for checking progesterone and ovulation, not pregnancy. For pregnancy they do a beta hcg blood test, which is different. So ask your gynac for the right test depending on what you want to know.
I did day 21 tests during my pcos workup and it was about ovulation, not confirming pregnancy. I'm not fully sure of all the science honestly. Your gynac is the best person to explain which test you need.
