Had loose motions since last night and now im worried if it can harm the baby. Im 11 weeks. Planning to call my doc but wanted to ask here also, did anyone go through this?
Don't panic, dear. Occasional diarrhea is quite common due to hormonal changes or a change in diet, and it won't harm the baby. Just drink plenty of fluids and eat simple curd-rice. But if you get strong stomach cramps or fever, please contact your gynac right away.
Oh god, first it's constipation and then suddenly it's diarrhea, my stomach has no middle ground in this third trimester! It won't harm the baby, just make sure you're drinking water. If you get cramps or start feeling dizzy, definitely call your doc.
Haan na, stomach gets so sensitive during pregnancy! It won't affect the baby as long as you are hydrated. Just drink lots of liquids, but if it doesn't stop or you get fever, gynac ko dikha lo, ho na?
I had a bad bout of diarrhea just a few weeks before delivery and was so scared. My gynac told me to stick to light home food and drink plenty of water. It cleared up in two days, but do let your doctor know if it continues.
Mild diarrhea won't affect the baby, but dehydration can be dangerous. Keep sipping ORS or coconut water while working to keep your fluids up. If it doesn't settle in a day or you feel weak, call your doctor immediately.
Usually, it's just your body reacting to prenatal vitamins or something you ate. It doesn't affect the baby directly unless you get severely dehydrated. Drink ORS, avoid spicy food, and consult your gynac if it doesn't stop by tomorrow.
Chinta mat karo, kabhi kabhi khane-peene ke badlav se aisa ho jata hai. Ghar pe dahi-chawal khao aur nimbu-pani piyo taaki kamzori na aaye. Agar pet mein tez dard ho, toh turant doctor didi ko dikha lena.
I panicked so much when I got loose motions in my second trimester, thinking something was wrong with the baby! But my doctor reassured me it was just a stomach bug. Just stay hydrated and eat bland food, you will be totally fine.
