I had bad back pain and at a clinic they suggested a diclofenac injection, but im 6 months pregnant so i got scared and said no. Now im wondering if it would have been okay. Wanted to know others experience before i ask my gynac.
Oh god, please be extremely careful with any kind of injection or medicine during pregnancy. After what I went through, I would say don't take anything unless your doctor explicitly says so and it's absolutely necessary. Har cheez ke liye double check karo, please.
Instead of injections, I tried to manage any minor aches with stretching or a light walk, of course, after my doctor gave me a go-ahead. For actual pain, definitely consult your gynac. Medicines like diclofenac are usually not preferred during pregnancy, I think.
With twins, trust me, you get all sorts of aches and pains! But doc always said no unnecessary meds. If it's something serious, of course, gynac will advise. Otherwise, for small pains, thoda rest, hot pack... you become quite tough handling two babies inside!
Dekho behen, diclofenac injection pregnant ladies ko nahi dete hain. Yeh bilkul theek nahi hai. Agar tumhe koi pain hai ya koi aur problem hai toh seedha apne gynac se baat karo. Bina doctor ki salah ke kuch bhi injection mat lena, samajh gayi?
During my pregnancy, because of gestational diabetes, I had to be super careful about everything – not just food but any medicine too. For injections like this, you absolutely need to consult your doctor. They know your health history best and what's safe for you and the baby.
Usually, for pregnant women, doctors avoid prescribing diclofenac, especially later in pregnancy. It's generally not recommended. If you have some pain, you should definitely talk to your gynac and they can suggest safer options for you. Don't take it on your own.
