Saw in some old movie doctor checking with stethoscope and now im curious haha. Like can they actually tell ya it needs proper test/scan? matlab just wondering how it works.
Haha, I remember thinking this too when I was pregnant! Looking back, a stethoscope can only hear the baby's heartbeat much later, like 18-20 weeks. For early confirmation, you need a proper blood test or scan.
Suno, stethoscope se shuru me bilkul pata nahi chalta. Don't worry, just get a simple urine pregnancy card test from the chemist or do a blood beta-hCG test for 100% confirmation.
Even I thought they could hear it early, but my doctor told me we can only hear the heartbeat with a stethoscope much later in the second trimester. Did anyone else get confused by this early on?
