Acidity is so bad after dinner these days and i used to take Eno before. Now in pregnancy im scared to take anything without asking. Is it safe or not? Will check with doc also.
I actually drank Eno once early in my pregnancy without thinking, and then panicked like crazy after reading it's not safe! Don't worry if you already had some, but try to avoid it now and use warm saunf water instead.
Actually, Eno is not a good idea during pregnancy, yaar. The sodium content is very high, which can lead to swelling in your feet or even affect your blood pressure. Try sipping some cold milk, it really helps with acidity!
Eno has high sodium which can cause water retention and swelling. I managed my acidity by doing a light 10-minute walk after dinner (which my doctor had cleared) and eating smaller meals. It is much safer and healthier!
I had terrible gas and acidity during my pregnancy and even post my C-section recovery. My doctor strictly advised against Eno and gave me a mild antacid gel instead which was very safe. Please ask your gynac before drinking anything like Eno.
Acidity and heartburn can be so painful and frustrating, I completely get how uncomfortable you must feel. But please avoid drinking Eno as it has high sodium which isn't good right now. Call your doctor and they will give you a safe antacid syrup.
From a practical standpoint, Eno isn't recommended because sodium bicarbonate can disturb your electrolyte balance and cause fluid retention. If you have severe acidity, ask your gynac to prescribe a pregnancy-safe antacid instead.
