My MIL made a big batch of dry fruit laddu with gond and everything, keeps telling me to eat one daily. Im in 2nd trimester. Is it actually ok or too much heat for the body? Anyone else been told this?
Oh I am also in my 2nd trimester and my mom made these delicious dry fruit laddus. But I was wondering, can we eat them in summers too? Or does it cause too much body heat?
I absolutely loved dry fruit laddus during my late second and third trimesters! They gave me the strength to stay active and go for regular walks, which ultimately helped in my normal delivery. Make sure they are prepared at ghar pe with clean ingredients.
You can definitely eat them, but don't go eating 3-4 laddus a day thinking it is healthy. One laddu in the morning is more than enough. Balance it with fresh fruits and lots of water, simple.
My mother always makes dry fruit laddus with a little ragi for pregnant girls in our house. She says it gives strength, but I still confirmed with my gynac before eating them daily. If your doctor says yes, you can definitely enjoy them in limit.
Oh god, dry fruit laddus are the only things saving me from midnight hunger pangs right now in my 34th week! I am too tired to cook anything else, so I just grab a laddu and milk. Let's hope baby gets all the energy because mommy has zero left!
Of course you can eat them, they are a powerhouse of nutrition! I ate one daily during both my pregnancies and it really helped with my energy levels. Just make them at home with ghee and jaggery instead of white sugar, it's much healthier.
Dry fruits laddu is a great traditional snack, but since every pregnancy is unique, it's best to ask your gynac first. Some women might have high sugar or weight issues, so the doctor can suggest the right quantity for u. For me, 1 laddu in the morning worked beautifully.
Yes, dry fruit laddus are super healthy and give good energy, but moderation is key here. Dry fruits are warm in nature, so eating 1 small laddu daily with milk is perfect. Just avoid eating too many at once to keep your sugar levels in check.
After my IVF journey, I was so scared to eat anything heavy, but my doctor said dry fruits are excellent for baby's growth. I started eating tiny home-made dry fruit laddus from my second trimester. Just check with your doctor once to be completely sure and stress-free.
I tracked my daily calories on an app and realized dry fruit laddus are very dense in nutrients but high in calories. So I limited myself to just one small laddu a day as a healthy mid-day snack. It's great for your iron and healthy fats intake!
