Test came positive just yesterday and im around 5 weeks i think. Eager to go for a scan but not sure if its even too early to see anything. When did you all do your first ultrasound?
My doctor said a very early scan may not show much, usually around 6-7 weeks you can see the sac and heartbeat clearly. Before that they often rely on blood beta hcg. So she made me wait a bit before scanning.
Dont rush to scan the moment test is positive. Give it a couple weeks so the scan actually shows something, it saves you unnecessary tension. Your doc will tell the right time.
I went too early for my first scan and they couldnt see much, I panicked. Doc said come back in 2 weeks and then we saw the heartbeat. Did anyone else go too soon and worry?
