I just found out im pregnant, maybe 5-6 weeks. Since yesterday im feeling mild pulling kind of pain in lower tummy, not sharp but its there. Is this common in the beginning or should i be worried?
Mild cramping and pulling sensations are common in early pregnancy as the uterus starts stretching. I felt little twinges both times and it was normal. But if the pain is sharp, one sided, or comes with bleeding, that is different and needs the doctor.
Light cramps can be normal, but I want to gently say, if it is severe pain, especially on one side, or with bleeding or dizziness, please call your gynac immediately. Early sharp pain should never be ignored. For mild aches though, rest helps.
I freaked out over the mild belly cramps in my early weeks, thought something was wrong. Doctor said it was just the uterus adjusting and everything was fine. So light cramps are usually okay, but I still felt better after getting checked.
