Can early pregnancy cause pain during intercourse?
Just got my positive test, around 5 weeks i think. Felt some discomfort and pain that was never there before. Is this a normal early pregnancy thing or should i be worried? bit awkward to ask doc directly.
Oh dear, I totally understand how frustrating this can be. Your cervix is very sensitive right now and your body is going through massive shifts. It is completely okay to take a break and prioritize your comfort.
This is a really good question because I am trying to conceive and always wondered about this. It makes sense that hormones would make everything feel different. Let us know what your doctor says about it!
Same here, I had this issue too during my early weeks. My doc explained that the uterus is expanding and blood flow increases a lot, which causes discomfort. It got much better for me in the second trimester!
Please be very careful with this. I had some cramps initially and my doc advised me to avoid intercourse completely in the first trimester. If you feel any pain or discomfort, please stop and discuss this with your gynac first.
Arre, don't stress too much! It is super normal to feel some pain because of all the extra blood circulation and hormones. Just take it easy, tell your partner, and skip it if it doesn't feel right.
Haha, by the time you reach the third trimester, you won't even have the energy to think about it! But seriously, early on, things get very sensitive down there. Just be gentle or take a break for a few weeks.
Honestly, between the heavy morning sickness and body changes, sex was the last thing on my mind! Pain can happen because of increased blood flow and sensitivity down there. Just listen to your body and go slow.
Yes! I felt a lot of mild cramping and dryness during my first trimester, which made it super uncomfortable. Did anyone else here also experience this? I got so worried initially.
Sometimes it happens due to hormonal changes, but any pain during early pregnancy should not be ignored. If you have severe cramping or any spotting after intercourse, please call your doctor immediately.
