Can early pregnancy of one week see on a ultrasound?
Test came positive and im super eager to confirm everything with a scan. Matlab its very early, maybe just a week or so. Will the ultrasound even show anything this soon or should i wait? anyone got a scan this early?
With my PCOS, my cycles were always erratic so I understand the confusion. An ultrasound won't show anything at just one week post-conception. It is better to do a blood hCG test first, and then your gynac will tell you the right week to schedule the scan.
Oh dear, one week is way too early to see anything on an ultrasound scan. I remember being so anxious to see my baby, but the doctor told me to wait till at least 6-7 weeks to hear the heartbeat. Hang in there, I know the wait is hard but your time will come.
Actually, even I asked my doctor about this because I was super excited after my positive urine test! But she said nothing is visible at 1-2 weeks, we need to wait for at least 6 weeks for the first scan. Have you done a home urine pregnancy test yet?
No dear, one week is too early for an ultrasound to show anything. Just relax, take your folic acid as advised by your doctor, and wait for a few weeks.
I just delivered a month ago and went through this recently. In early pregnancy, even at 4 weeks, they only see a tiny sac sometimes, but at one week nothing at all will show up. My doctor scheduled my first scan at 7 weeks to be absolutely sure.
