My MIL gave me soaked anjeer for constipation and says it is good in pregnancy. I like it but I am not sure how much is okay. Anyone eating it regularly?
Haan beta anjeer is good in moderation, helps with constipation which is so common in pregnancy. I used to soak one or two overnight and eat in morning. Just dont overdo, a couple is enough.
Yes you can, soaked figs are great for digestion and iron. Just keep it to one or two a day, they are high in sugar. I ate them through both pregnancies, no issues.
Yes dear, in our home we always had soaked anjeer during pregnancy, it helped with energy and digestion. In moderation its lovely. If you have any sugar concerns just confirm with your doctor.
Anjeer is fine generally but watch the quantity, it has natural sugar. With my gestational diabetes I had to limit dry fruits, so I checked with my doctor on amounts. For most ladies a small portion is totally ok.
