I am not able to eat proper breakfast and someone suggested Complan in milk. I am not sure if it is okay or too sugary. Anyone drinking it during pregnancy?
These drinks have added sugar, so if ur sugar is being monitored be a little careful. I checked with my doctor before having health drinks. If sugars are fine then occasional glass is okay, but it shouldnt replace proper meals.
Its marketed as healthy but its still got sugar, so think of it as a supplement to a balanced diet, not a substitute. I would say have it occasionally and let real food do the heavy lifting. Quick word with ur doctor settles any doubt.
A glass of complan in milk is generally fine, its just a malt health drink. But it doesnt replace real food or ur prescribed supplements. I had it sometimes when I didnt feel like eating. Ask ur gynac if it fits, especially if ur watching sugar.
Honestly a glass of plain milk with some dry fruits gives more or less the same and is cheaper than these branded drinks. I didnt spend extra on complan, just ate well. But if u like the taste, a glass now and then is no harm.
