Curd rice is my comfort food and i usually make it with previous nights leftover rice. Now im pregnant and suddenly worried whether leftover rice is okay or not. Anyone else eating this regularly?
If the rice is properly refrigerated and not too old, curd rice is fine and easy on the tummy. I ate it often in both pregnancies. Just avoid rice thats been sitting out at room temp for hours.
Fresh curd rice is lovely and light, I loved it during nausea days. Just be careful with leftovers in summer, food poisoning is not worth it. If your stomach ever feels really off, check with your doctor.
